Heh. I heart Toothpaste for Dinner.
I can't decide what I think about my latest scissor-happy endeavor. Everyone says I can pull off short hair - I was surprised, I didn't think I could - but that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about the uneven cutting. There's a spot in back that ended up shorter than the rest, and I'm really self-conscious about it. I'm afraid to cut everything to match it, for fear that it'll look even worse and that the bf will intervene and take my scissors away. But apparently, everyone says that the short spot wouldn't be noticeable if I didn't point it out, so I guess that makes me feel a little better.
On a completely different note:
I returned from spring break to receive some pretty bad news. A good friend of mine learned a couple weeks ago that her dad had prostate cancer, and she's heading down for his surgery later this week. But the most recent news was that her mom went to the doctor, was initially diagnosed with pneumonia, but now has a very good chance of being diagnosed with lung cancer. They're finding out for sure sometime today. Keep her and her parents in your thoughts (or prayers, if you do that), ok?
